Financial Aid

Students in good academic standing may apply for financial aid. McDaniel College has established a scholarship program for McDaniel Budapest students to facilitate their transfer to Westminster for the mandatory “American Experience” semester or for the upper two years leading to the BA degree to enable them to study on the main campus at a reasonable cost. The financial aid awards (reflected in the special tuition rate for McDaniel Budapest students) will be made on a one-year basis, and will be renewable if the student has maintained the required academic standing. The minimum requirement for any financial aid granted to students transferring to Westminster is an overall Grade Point Average of at least 2.0. Each year, McDaniel College awards one full tuition scholarship to an outstanding student from Budapest for the upper two years at the home campus in Maryland (full exemption from the tuition fee does not include the cost of housing and full board on the main campus).
