Steps for making an appointment to be tested.

You can make an appointment to be tested. (Currently you need TWO negative tests in order to leave the quarantine, so we would advise you to make two appointments right away.)

If you have a valid SARS-CoV-2 PCR negative test you’ve made in the Schengen zone, however, you need only one additional negative test carried out in Hungary following your arrival.

The most important thing you should take into consideration is that you must have an authorization letter from public health office for leaving the quarantine even for being tested. You will have to submit the request* via email, and you will get an answer in 3-4 days. If you leave quarantine without an authorization letter–even if you go to be tested—you will be fined. We advise you to make the appointments and calculating an additional 3-4 days for the authority letter to arrive.

You have to pay by credit card, and after that, contact us, so we can make the appointment for you. Please note that you must pay for the test before we can make the appointment for you.

Here are some of the necessary things to take into consideration before starting to fill out the Police Form. You will also find a step-by-step guide on how to fill it out.

Timing is important: You will only have 30 minutes to fill out the form and attach everything, so please prepare the documents beforehand so you can save some time.

Single PDF: If you have to upload anything. Unfortunately the website only allows you to upload one single attachment. Before you start the process, we strongly advise that you merge every document you have to upload into one single pdf file. In this way, you can attach all the documents needed for the form with one PDF.

Starting the New Form:

 

Once you have everything ready, go to this website:

Here you will have to choose the ’Start a New Case’

 

On the next page you will have to choose the last option called ’Járványügyi intézkedésekkel kapcsolatos beadványok’.

 

On the next page you have to choose the form called ’PCR teszt időpontjáról tájékoztatás megküldése’.

 

On the next page you have to choose the form called ’COVID 06’.

 
On the next page choose ‘digital’.

After a verification code you will arrive at the police form.

On the first page of the form you will have to fill out your personal information and your contact information.

Please note, that they will contact you via email, so it’s really important that you use an email address that you use and check frequently.

On the next page you will have to fill out your address and the information on where you will be tested.

You will see that you can not write on the top part. It will autofill itself, when you write your address under it.

After you write the zip code the first line will autofill itself. The tricky part here is the street name and type. For Public address, you have to write the street name for example: Bethlen Gábor. Type of Public address is the type of street like square, road etc. Unfortunately also in Hungarian. So if you are not sure, please translate that as well.

The translations of the most common ones:

köz – way
körút – avenue
tér – square
utca – street/road
út – avenue/boulevard

Upon entering Hungary, most probably at the airport you received an official paper from the police stating that you have to quarantine. You will find the reference number there, and you also have to upload the document.

You have to write the address of the testing place and date and time as well. Please note that, you have to send in the request form at least 24 hours prior your test appointment.

UPLOAD

Now you have to upload the merged document. The site will ask you a couple of times whether you are uploading anything or not.

If something is missing, or you forgot to fill out something there will be a reminder at the end of the page. Do not worry! You will not be able to submit the form unless you have filled everything out.

If you are finished, you can finalize the form and send it in!

Response

After you send it in, you will receive an email containing your submitted form.
