YOUR ARRIVAL AT THE BUDAPEST CAMPUS OF MCDANIEL COLLEGE means the beginning of a new academic experience in an exciting city. During your time of study here, you will have the opportunity to learn much about the academic life of an American college and about the cultural life of Central Europe. McDaniel students come from many different countries, but together they share the opportunity for a rich life inside and outside the classroom. With the variety of courses available in an American liberal arts college, and the many extracurricular activities made possible by a major European capital city like Budapest, one of the first things you must learn to do is to use efficiently the resources at hand, and to manage wisely your time. The Student Handbook is intended to provide you with helpful information about the College and about city life, and referring to it might, indeed, provide you with resources, and save you time.
