About

Professor Reichardt studies the memory processes which determine what information we retain and what we forget. In practice, this involves behavioral methods from cognitive psychology and electrophysiological measurements. He has been teaching basic biology and chemistry at a high school level and courses on the history of neuroscience, behavioral neuroscience and sleep research at the university level.

He is an enthusiastic science communicator, who can frequently be found speaking or writing about the current results of neuroscience. He is a columnist of the Hungarian weekly popular science magazine, Élet és Tudomány.
