Come enjoy What Is A Man Without A Moustache? with the students of SIS 2100 Gender, Fiction, and Sexuality inCentral Europe, next Monday, 7pm.

On Monday, February 20 at 7:00 in Room 220, there will be a screening of the Croatian comedy, What Is A Man Without A Moustache?, directed by Hrvoje Hribar. Set in post-warCroatia, the plot involves several threads, as a family profits from a darkly comic windfall, and the town priest struggles to please an aggressive bishop by scrounging up the money to rebuild a bell tower, all the while struggling to keep his vows as an attractive young woman with an eye on him arrives in the parish. The film is based on Ante Tomić’s acclaimed 2000 novel.
