As the semester began, McDaniel students and staff were treated to a lakeside cookout near the scenic Hungarian village of Alsópetény on Saturday, September 18. Lunch was a delicious bowl of wild boar stew, which Dean Frenyó had hunted himself, or authentic Hungarian lecsó (a local take on ratatouille). Students, both old and new got to know each other better while partaking in fun activities including badminton, frisbee, football and volleyball.
