McDaniel College grants transfer credits for courses with a grade no lower than C. To request credits for transfer official transcripts need to be sent to proper Campus Offices.

McDaniel College grants transfer credits for courses taken at other American colleges or universities with full accreditation by accrediting agencies recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. No grades of C‑ or lower will be approved for transfer. To request credits for transfer to McDaniel College, students should have official transcripts sent to the Registrar’ s Office of McDaniel College directly.

Students who wish to transfer credits from institutions outside the American system of higher learning should first have their courses evaluated by an internationally accepted American credentials evaluation agency (i.e. World Education Services, WES). Based on the documents submitted by the student and the institution(s) attended, the agency will forward its evaluation and recommendations to McDaniel College.

McDaniel College recognizes International Baccalaureate (IB) Diplomas and grants credits to new students for examinations in higher-level IB courses with test scores of 5 or higher. Students should request official Transcripts of Grades from the organization to be mailed to McDaniel College directly. To learn more about the transcript request procedure, visit: www.ibo.org
